New Delhi: The Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy has been grabbing all the limelight for a long time now. The ‘Krrish’ actor filed an impersonation complaint against the ‘Queen’ actress in the year 2016 which alleged that Kangana had sent him 1439 emails reportedly, to which the ‘Fighter’ actor never responded. Hrithik also claimed that Kangana was in touch with an imposter over email pretending to be him and alleged that the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress mentally harassed Hrithik Roshan.
Now, according to the latest report, Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before the Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on February 27 to record his statement in the case.
A report in ANI reads, “Maharashtra | Actor Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Feb 27 to record his statement in a case lodged against actress Kangana Ranaut involving exchange of emails between the two: Crime Branch”
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut were allegedly involved in a romantic relationship, as claimed by the ‘Panga’ actress. Both of them has worked in the 2013 movie ‘Krrish 3’.
Hrithik Roshan set off his foot in Bollywood in the year 2000 with the movie ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ opposite debutant Ameesha Patel, which proved to be a box-office success. He then starred in several other movies including ‘Krrish’, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and others. Hrithik will be next seen starring opposite Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand’s next ‘Fighter’.
Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, stepped into Bollywood 2006 thriller ‘Gangster’ alongside Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja. She has received 3 National Awards and 1 Padma Shri. She has starred in movies like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Queen’, ‘Manikarnika’ and others. Kangana will be next seen starring in ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’ and ‘Thalaivi’.
