New Delhi: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who is the daughter of the late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, recently shared a post on her social media remembering her mother. Sridevi passed away 3 years back on February 24, 2018, at the age of 54.
The ‘Dhadak’ actress took to her Instagram and shared a handwritten note of her mother which read, “Love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.”
While sharing the post, Janhvi Kapoor captioned the picture as, “Miss u”.

Sridevi was pronounced dead after ‘accidental drowning’ at a bathtub at a hotel in Dubai. The ‘Mr India’ actress went to Dubai to attend the wedding of nephew Mohit Marwah along with her daughter Khushi and other family members.
The late actress started her career as a child artist at the age of 4 in the 1967 film ‘Kandhan Karunai’. She then acted in several other movies as a child artist. Considered the first female superstar in the Indian film industry, Sridevi then made her debut as a lead actress at the age of 13 with the 1976 Tamil film ‘Moondru Mudichu’. Her first starring role in Bollywood was in the 1979 drama film ‘Solva Sawan’. Since then, there has been no stopping for the actress as she went to star in several other superhit movies including ‘Mr. India’, ‘ChaalBaaz’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Khuda Gawah’, Laadla’, ‘Judaai’ and many more.
Sridevi’s death came as a shock to not only her family but to the entire film industry. She is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and her two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
